When talking to someone you haven’t met before, consider using gender-neutral pronouns, such as they/them, or asking what their preferred pronouns are. See below for a list of common pronouns

Queer
Queer means that you are not straight, but does not necessarily imply that you are gay. You could be bisexual, asexual, biromantic, or any of the other orientations! Queer refers to the non-cisgender heterosexual community of LGBTQ+ individuals.
