Someone who experiences little to no sexual or romantic attraction to any individuals.
One of the earliest uses of this specific was in 2005, with the use of “asexual-asexual” as the alternative before this time.
Aro and asexual are not the same thing. Aro individuals do not experience romantic attraction, while asexual individuals do not experience sexual attraction. However, it is possible to be both aro *and* asexual. Although aro individuals do not experience romantic attraction, this does not necessarily mean they can’t be in a relationship. See also: Asexual
